Q: What did you dream of being as a kid?

A: I've always loved being outside and started mowing lawns at 13. So I guess my dream chose me.

Q: How does your personality play into your business?

A: I enjoy working with people. Helping someone transform their property into an extension of their home is extremely rewarding.

Q: At what moment did you decide to open a business?

A: As I mentioned, I was 13 when started mowing lawns and from there my landscape business has evolved. Paramount Landscaping was founded in 1997 and in 2010 we opened Paramount Garden Center in Osterville. It seemed like the natural transition for our business.

Q: What inspired you?

A: Providing a better service and/or product to a customer than they can find somewhere else. We constantly strive to be the best.

Q: Describe the biggest challenge of owing a business in the Town of Barnstable?

A: I find sometimes the town makes certain things more difficult than for businesses then they need be, this can be hard for small businesses.

Q: Describe the best thing about owing a business in the Town of Barnstable?

A: The way the community collectively supports local businesses.

Q: What is one thing you would never change about your business?

A: Our attention to detail. Going above and beyond for our customer, giving them that extra something they don't expect, but appreciate.

Q: What is your business' greatest asset?

A: I would have to say our team. Nothing would be possible without them.

Q: What is your favorite spot in town?

A: Probably Dowses Beach in September when the rush of the summer is over.

Q: What's one thing the community should know about you?

A: Our goal is help the community, whether it be through our landscape services or our garden center, to continue to make Cape Cod the beautiful place we all know it to be.
